Dear Parents,

As we move closer to what will be yet another busy summer of swimming and other fun summer activities, I wanted to take a moment to communicate an important change that will be taking place at our company.  Moving forward, we will be operating under the name Evolution Swim Academy.

I believe this change best represents the direction that we are moving in.  When I first started Evolution Swim Academy, I had 5 students in my lesson plan (singular because at the time I only had 1 lesson plan) and taught swim lessons on a very part time basis.  Not in my wildest dreams did I think I would have the opportunity to meet and instruct the children of so many wonderful families!  With more clients, I felt the obligation to evolve and provide additional programming.  We have done that, and by doing so, we are no longer just a swim school!

I am proud to say that we are a true Swim Academy.  From offering a few valued students 1 lesson plan, we now offer our families a swim school that teaches 2 Parent & Me lesson plans, 4 safety, 1 development and 4 stroke technique lesson plans.  In total, we offer 11 lesson plans that will take your child from being aquatic naïve to being proficient at the four major swim strokes.

A little over a year ago, we introduced Aquajet Swim Camps.  The swim camps are meant to be the half step between swim lessons and a competitive swim team.  I believe that with this program, we fulfilled the needs of families that were finished with swim lessons but not quite ready for competitive swimming.  This program will also fall under the Evolution Swim Academy, and will operate as Evolution Swim.

Previous to the swim camps, I took over the Nellie Gail Gators competitive swim team.  I felt that to offer a complete swimming program, we needed to have a competitive swim team that would fulfill the needs of our most competitive athletes.  Currently, the Nellie Gail Gators swim team has approximately 90 athletes, many of which come from our lesson and swim camp programs.

This summer, we will be offering the newest addition to our programming, Evolution Sports Camps.  Our sports camps will take place at Nellie Gail Ranch and promise to keep your children active over the summer months! To summarize, we offer Parent & Me lessons, swim lessons, swim camps, competitive swim team and summer sports camps.  As you can see, we are no longer just a swim school.
